Game of Thrones' star Sophie Turner announces her engagement to Joe Jonas

"She said yes", he wrote alongside a picture of the ring.

The couple's romance has left a distinct Instagram history, with their first appearance on the platform published on the 1st of January this year.

Jonas's brother Nick was among those to send congratulations online.

If their social media is anything to judge by, the wedding is bound to be a well-documented affair.

Fellow Game of Thrones' stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie confirmed their engagement in September.

Joe did the same on his Instagram, not giving much away but a simple "She said yes".

Turner and Jonas have been dating since at least late a year ago, but have rarely been photographed at public events together.

While Turner has been quite mum about her relationship, this past summer when in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 21-year-old started blushing when asked about the former boy band member, joking that he was a "good accessory" to have with her during events.
