Aly Raisman Accuses Former USA Gymnastics Doctor Larry Nassar Of Sexual Abuse

Raisman was a key member of both the 2012 and 2016 United States Olympic gymnastics teams that won gold. She talks about her experiences in a new book called "Fierce".

More than 130 women have filed lawsuits against Nassar, saying he sexually abused them as he worked with the US gymnastics team for more than two decades.

Last month, McKayla Maroney, 21, detailed how Nassar began molesting her at the age of 13 at a U.S. national team training camp. Why not look at what about the culture?

Raisman's allegations follow allegations from teammate McKayla Maroney, a two-time Olympic medalist who accused Nassar of sexually abusing her throughout her career. She is the last gymnast to date, and the most famous so far, to accuse Dr. Nassar of sexual touching under cover of treatment for back or hip injuries. After the Rio Olympics, where she won a second team gold as well as silver medals in the all-around and floor exercise, Raisman told 60 Minutes she finally chose to speak to FBI investigators about Dr. Nassar. In a statement to 60 Minutes, USA Gymnastics said it was "very sorry that any athlete has been harmed" and that the organization wants "to work with Aly and all interested athletes to keep athletes safe". Attorneys have said that more women are expected to join the lawsuits.

Aly is set to appear on 60 minutes on Sunday and tell her side of the story.

He also pleaded guilty in July to federal child pornography charges, after authorities found him in possession of thousands of images, including some with victims as young as six years old.

"Dr. Nassar is no longer affiliated with USA Gymnastics".

He also faces charges in state court in MI, largely related to allegations that he digitally penetrated women during medical exams for his own sexual gratification.

Nassar is already facing 22 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and could receive a sentence of life in prison. I can't ... every time I look at them, every time I see them smiling, I just think ... The scandal, revealed in late 2016, has shaken the discipline and led to the resignation in March of the president of the American Federation, Steve Penny. I care a lot when I see these young girls that come up to me, and they ask for pictures or autographs, whatever it is, I just ...
